Trustee Andrew Caudill serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services at the University of Nevada. He is responsible for directing the academic operations of the football program and serves as sport administrator for men’s and women’s tennis atUNR. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse and a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Northern Illinois University. He’s called Washoe County home since 2014.
During Caudill’s time at UNR, the football program’s academic profile has improved significantly and surpassed a 3.0 GPA for the team.
In May 2018, the NCAA recognized the Nevada football program for achieving an Academic Progress Rate (APR) in the top 10 percent of all FBS programs joining Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Northwestern, Stanford, Air Force, Navy, Illinois, Michigan, Washington, Wisconsin, and Vanderbilt.
Most recently, Nevada football was awarded the American Football Coaches Association Academic Achievement Award for 2018 along with Pittsburgh, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and national champion Clemson.
Caudill is very active in his North Valleys community and serves on the Neighborhood Advisory Board for Ward 4 in Reno. He also serves on the Academic Standards Committee at the university as well as the Mountain West Conference Academic Director’s Committee.
